Campout

Moth on a Wall
Here are some nature pictures I took last week at a camp out!

Blood Lake
This is an image of a beautiful place that you can hike to in the mountains near my house. It's such a perfect place, I just had to include a picture with the depth of the trees, the smooth reflections in the water, and even a little contrast of the path to get there.
Flowers!
This is a pretty cool picture of some flowers I found, there's not too much to say, but I think some of the contrast and depth are worth noticing.
Rays of Sunlight
Here is a picture taken by one of my friends, that I think so perfectly captures this effect! The smoke from a fire we had that morning made a semi-holographic look, since the sunlight had someplace to stop. It's such a rare thing to find and capture, I was so glad she was able to get it!
The rocks...
At first, this picture seems really strait-forward. It's showing the rocks in a lake. But I included it for another reason. See if you can find it! (comment what you think it is.)
Nature's seat.

This one I took simply because of this odd occurrence of nature. This tree somehow managed to grow into a chair-like shape, and is even strong enough that it works! If you want to find another hidden thing in here, go for it! Comment again if you find it!

A new friend.
This picture is more of a memory for me than a work of art. We found this little guy all curled up in a leaf (see below) and thought he was making a chrysalis, but when he started to walk away, my bug-loving friend picked him up and took him with us! We named him Munchy Cabo Sticky Feet, and love him so much! Still, despite the fond memories, this is still a good image because it so perfectly shows the perspective on the size of this tiny creature.
The non-chrysalis (see above)
Amber waves of grain
I cannot take credit for this image, since it was taken by a friend. Still, it's such a beautiful view of the golden field, with the green trees in the back-ground and the blue faded mountains even farther than that, it portrays amazing depth, and the sunlight glinting in from the corner makes it look all the more magical!
The Fire
This picture was an attempt at some pictures I've seen others take of a crisp fire, but it was very difficult to do in the dark, and as we know, fire is ALWAYS leaping and dancing, so it didn't quite turn out, but it looks pretty mysterious and cool anyway.

Leaf!
Just a pretty picture of a leaf with slight color contrast, interesting depth, texture, and size, all included!
Sleeping Bat
This was a pretty cool little find right before we went to bed! This cute little bat was chilling in the rafters of our food pavilion (trust me, not OVER the food) and we couldn't help but stand and stare. Some of the others watching pointed out multiple times that we wouldn't disturb this bat's sleep with our flashlights, since it wouldn't see them anyway. Still it absolutely made the day!
Dry Riverbed
This was just an irresistible picture of a riverbed near our campsite. All of the rocks were so perfectly laid out in a way that provides a mesmerizing pattern, a soothing smoothness, and an enchanting depth. I couldn't say no.

    1. Thank you so much! And you're close, but it's not a fish. Keep guessing! ;)

    Okay.
You're so good at this! I especially love your landscape photography. I'm kind of jealous about how good they look. My landscapes always just come out weird. Keep it up dude! Maybe someday we can collab.
